Infant Daycare & Education

Our caregivers are passionate about providing the best care possible for every baby.

Belonging & Security

We’ve gone to great lengths to create a safe, healthy and nurturing environment both you and your baby will love.

Our caregivers are passionate about providing the best care possible for every baby. All of our caregivers practice a variety of interactions including holding, facial expressions, and verbal cues to connect with and engage your child. Our infant rooms promote familiar rituals that give a sense of belonging and security as they learn and grow. Infant individual lesson plans ensure that children receive appropriate support in order to meet developmental milestones. Interactive games like peek-a-boo and patty cake help your baby have fun and begin to understand language.

6 weeks to 12 months

A Warm & Welcoming Environment

Our intentional approach to early childhood development and learning extends all the way to how our Infant Room is designed. We fill each day with ample opportunity to develop fine and gross motor skills through multi-sensory activities chosen for your child as part of his or her individual lesson plans. When your baby has had adequate stimulation, we provide a calm and quiet place for rest.

We adhere to your infant’s feeding schedule and support breastfeeding moms. Most of our locations offer a private lactation room for your convenience. We welcome you to visit anytime!

Nurturing Caregivers

Your baby will enjoy being cuddled, rocked, sung to, and talked to in our Infant Room. While all caregivers will be involved with your baby, for optimum development, your baby will have a primary caregiver who will learn what makes them happy, excited, and comforted. With this knowledge and your valuable input, your child’s caregiver develops a personalized routine that provides a strong sense of security. Our caregivers have early childhood qualifications, complete annual on-going training to keep them informed of current best practices, and are passionate about providing your baby the best care possible.

Individualized Care and Education

From the quality interactions your baby’s caregiver has with them, individual lesson plans are developed to ensure that age-appropriate development and learning objectives are being met. During this age, our caregivers work closely with parents to develop an appropriate eating and sleeping schedule to ensure your baby’s health and development. This information is outlined in an Individual Care Plan, which your child’s caregiver and all caregivers that interact with your child follow. As always, we recognize that parents know their child best and we welcome input and cooperation to ensure we are exceeding your expectations.

Fine and Gross Motor Exploration

Development of small and large muscles and skills such as rolling from side-to-side and sitting up are a big part of our Infant Room daily schedule. We will help your baby strengthen motor skills by playing with cradle gyms and rattles and crawling over soft cushions. From holding up their heads to pulling themselves up to a standing position, we work with your baby to help him or her acquire these skills.

Language Exploration

Our caregivers use facial expressions, verbal cues, and a variety of interactions to provide your baby the building blocks of language. Peek-a-boo, patty cake, and pointing out simple objects of interest, like noises, people, animals, and body parts, are integrated throughout the day. Talking to your baby and reading books together is a significant part of their daily routine. Our caregivers understand the importance of these interactions and how essential they are to language development.

Baby Signs® encourages communication with children who may not yet be able to express themselves verbally, giving your infant a way to communicate their wants and needs through simple hand signs. Baby Signs® books are read aloud or sung while caregivers simultaneously use hand signs. Signs utilized include simple requests such as “milk,” “more,” “all done,” and “eat” as well as many others.
