National Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated annually from September 15 to October 15. It’s an important time to honor the influence and culture of Hispanic and Latino Americans who’ve helped shape the fabric of our nation.
At Learning Care Group, we value the benefits of creating an inclusive school community where diversity adds depth and richness to the early learning experience. By embracing our differences, we develop a greater understanding of each child and family while encouraging deep appreciation for the knowledge and respect we gain through talking, sharing, and learning—together.
“You are not lucky to be here. The world needs your perspective. They are lucky to have you.”
~Jose Antonio Tijerino, President & CEO, Hispanic Heritage Foundation
A great way to spark curiosity and have meaningful conversations is through storytelling. Books by Latino authors give us great insight into Hispanic heritage. We encourage you to explore the following bilingual stories with your children. The titles were hand-selected by our education team to shine a light on the importance of celebrating Spanish culture and language.
Infants/Toddlers/Twos
Early Preschool/Preschool/Pre-K
Junior Kindergarten/School Age
